How revisions, source checks and editorial changes are handled on this static reference site.
Corrections
Each article is reviewed against the primary sources cited on the page. When a number, attribution or interpretation is found to be wrong or superseded, the page is revised and its review date is updated. The aim is to keep the published claim aligned with the strongest readable source rather than preserve an earlier wording.
Source review
Priority is given to national statistics, meta-analyses, registered trials, large longitudinal datasets and other primary material that can be checked directly. Commercial surveys and interested-party measurements may still be useful, but they are identified as such and do not receive the same evidential weight as stronger independent designs.
What this site cannot do
- It does not provide medical, legal, financial or professional advice.
- Population-level findings are not treated as recommendations for an individual case.
- The site does not accept sponsored posts, paid editorial placement or guest articles.
Revision process
There is no public contact form, mailbox or social channel attached to this archive. Corrections are handled through periodic editorial review of the cited sources and through direct updates to the static files. This avoids publishing a contact route that has not been configured and avoids implying that messages can be received when no such channel exists.
Republishing
Short quotations from these pages may be used with a link back to the relevant page. The underlying studies remain the work of their original authors and publishers, and their own terms govern reuse of the source material. Readers who need to cite a finding should follow the primary-source link shown with that finding rather than cite this site as a substitute for the research.
Editorial scope
The site is a static reference project about measurable effects of technology on everyday life. It contains no account system, newsletter, support desk, consultation service or file-upload workflow. The editorial pages describe the evidence standard and revision process only; they should not be read as a promise of individual support or response times.
